Why are so many millions out there trying to do the right thing? But still cannot maintain a healthy natural body weight?

Cravings are the killer... If you don't sort these out, then its no wonder millions across the globe are struggling.

Cravings are the hardest things to try and not give in to. Your brain feeds off Glucose so giving it a steady supply of this food source is what keeps it satisfied.

Just like us when we're starving, we look for food and if we're really hungry we just grab whatever we can. This is not a place you want to be in that's for sure.

FEED THE BRAIN AND CRAVINGS ARE KEPT AWAY

You Liver holds around 60 - 90 grams of Glycogen (but we'll just say glucose to keep things simple) and your muscles hold approx 300 - 400 grams.

In order for your brain to be fed a steady supply of this food 'glucose', we need to ensure we're filling up the tank 'liver', with every single meal you eat. This ensures there's enough glucose to be released into the bloodstream for the brain to feed off.

Once the brain has its food source, guess what! No Cravings!

FOR THE LIVER TO RELEASE GLUCOSE INTO THE BLOODSTREAM IT NEEDS TO BE TRIGGERED SOMEHOW, BUT HOW?

When we eat Protein it stimulates the Pancreas to release a hormone called 'Glucagon' and this is what triggers the Liver to ensure enough Glucose is in the bloodstream for the brain to feed off. Ok so now we have that right, but we can't just eat Protein right?

No, you need to eat Carbohydrates and Fats as well which are best coming from whole food sources. You need to eat all 3 Macronutrients in every meal in order to always have a variety of Macro and Micro Nutrients in your smoothies and meals.

THE EASIEST WAY TO IMPLEMENT A CLEAN BALANCED DIET IS TO BEGIN WITH SMOOTHIES FOR MEAL 1

So we need to get the right amounts of Protein, the right amounts of Carbs and the right amounts of good healthy Fats in every meal to feel our optimum.

The secret is in the Protein to Carbohydrate Ratio as this is what balances out another hormone called 'Insulin' which is also released from your Pancreas. Protein and Carbohydrates stimulate the release of these 2 hormones.

So you can already imagine I'm sure, that different amounts of Protein and carbohydrates will stimulate the release of different amounts of Glucagon and Insulin.

INCREASED CRAVINGS EQUALS WEIGHT GAIN - ELIMINATE CRAVINGS EQUALS WEIGHT LOSS

A lot of diets are marketed as a 'blanket solve' or 'blanket solution' for the population but it just cannot work that way. There is no single diet that's right for everyone. The Food Types, Food Amounts and your optimum Meal Timing will always be different to someone else, meaning you'll have a completely different diet than anyone else on the planet. You'll even have a different diet to others on Mars when Elon Musk gets a portion of the human species over there.

PROTEIN AND CARBOHYDRATE RATIO GREATLY IMPACTS YOUR BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS

The more Carbohydrates on your plate (talking about total carbs minus fibre) compared to Protein, generally means more Insulin and not much Glucagon. Now different Carbohydrates have different amounts of Carbs in them and will enter your bloodstream at a different rate than others. So don't be confused about just putting a heap of Potato on your plate and thinking the same volume of Broccoli are the same.
